Senior Accountant

MyForte Professional Recruiting has partnered with one of our longest-standing clients to identify a Senior Accountant for their growing accounting organization.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a large, profitable national organization that continues to invest heavily in its people, technology, and finance transformation initiatives. You’ll work alongside an exceptional accounting leadership team consisting of CPAs and professionals with backgrounds in Big 4, public accounting, and large corporate finance organizations.

What You’ll Do
* Support regional accounting operations for multiple business units
* Perform P&L review and variance analysis
* Prepare and analyze financial reporting packages
* Perform balance sheet analysis and account reconciliations
* Partner with finance leadership and operational teams
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
* Assist with month-end close and reporting activities
* Help standardize and scale accounting processes across the organization
Technology & Innovation
This team is investing heavily in modern finance technology, including:
* Power BI and dashboard reporting
* AI-enabled tools and workflow automation
* Advanced reporting and business intelligence
* Data analytics and process improvement initiatives
Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, VBA, Alteryx, Copilot, or similar technologies is a plus—but curiosity, analytical thinking, and a passion for leveraging technology are even more important.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
* Approximately 2–4 years of accounting or audit experience
* CPA or CPA candidate preferred
* Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm) is highly valued
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Advanced Excel skills required
Compensation & Benefits
* $80,000–$95,000 base salary plus bonus (commensurate with experience)
