Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Own balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity across accounts
• Support full-cycle accounting including journal entries, accruals, and month-end close
• Manage accounting areas such as prepaids, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and general ledger activity
• Partner across AP, AR, and payroll functions to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Assist with system utilization and optimization (ERP environment)
• Support ad hoc projects and reporting needs as the company grows and evolves
  
  

Qualifications For The Senior Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3 years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in GAAP
• Experience owning balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
• Well-rounded accounting background across multiple functions (AP, AR, accruals, etc.)
• Experience in a service-based or project-based environment preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (Vista or similar a plus)
• Strong analytical skills with a process improvement mindset
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a changing environment
