Rate: $13.00 per hour

Myerstown Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dependable Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in supporting resident comfort by ensuring linens and personal clothing are properly cleaned, organized, and returned.

Responsibilities

• Place soiled linens (facility-owned and residents’ personal items) into washing machines following proper procedures

• Fold or hang residents’ personal laundry and transport items to resident rooms

• Distribute clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner

• Hang clothing in closets and place items neatly in drawers

• Follow established laundry, safety, and infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred

• Familiarity with laundry equipment, cleaning materials, and supplies

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
