Structural Welder (Pulse Arch)

Job Title: Structural Welder (Pulse Arch)

Client: Lead Marine Staffing

Pay: $45/hr $140 per diem (non-local)

Duration: 2 year Contract

Shift Schedule: Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

Overtime: No mandatory overtime, opportunities to work overtime available

Requirements for this role include:

·        Four years of NNS or naval shipyard experience as a first-class Welder. (First Class = 4 years of experience, total 8 years of experience required)

·        All position fillet and butt welds using the SMAW (Shielded metal arc) process

·        Ability to fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel and copper nickel pipe using the SMAW and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes material

·        Ability to mirror weld using the SMAW and GTAW processes

·        Ability to pass Hair Follicle drug testing.

·        Ability to pass 10-year background check.

Welding Qualifications:

·        All Welders will be required to pass all positions

·         Multi-pass Butt Weld

·        Welder Qualification Tests prior to reporting for the first day of productive work.
