Housekeeping Inspector

Full Time | $18.50-$19.00 per hour
My Vacation Haven is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Inspector to join our vacation rental operations team in Miramar Beach. This is a full time, hands on position responsible for inspecting vacation rental properties to ensure each home meets our cleanliness and guest readiness standards before arrival.
This role is a great fit for someone who has experience with vacation rental housekeeping inspections, has a strong eye for detail, and is comfortable working independently while traveling between properties throughout the workday.
Schedule and Pay
This is a full time, 40 hour per week position paying $18.50-$19.00 per hour. Pay is based on experience. Fridays through Mondays are required. Candidates must also be available to work holidays based on business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Travel between vacation rental properties to complete housekeeping inspections
- Inspect properties for cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest readiness
- Complete light cleaning or touch ups when needed
- Identify and report damages, maintenance concerns, and service requests through our work order system
- Monitor and communicate supply and stocking needs
- Help ensure properties meet company cleanliness, safety, and quality standards
- Communicate professionally with housekeeping, maintenance, operations, and other team members
- Assist with other operational needs as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- At least one year of housekeeping inspection experience within the vacation rental industry
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify cleanliness or property issues before a guest arrives
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using a mobile device or computer to document inspections and submit work orders
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle for traveling between properties
- Availability to work Fridays through Mondays and holidays as required
Transportation
This position requires a valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and regular travel between vacation rental properties throughout the workday. Vehicle reimbursement is provided in accordance with company policy.
Physical Requirements
This is an active position that requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, pulling, and climbing stairs. Team members must also be able to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
