What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner position at My Mobile MD?
We have an opening for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners in our exciting mobile practice focusing on wellness and disease management within the geriatric community. Our focus is in assisted living, memory care communities.
We are offering a full time position to Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to better serve our clients medical and psychiatric needs. We work Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays. Being a mobile practice we go out to Assisted Living and Memory Care units to provide services. We go to 1 community each day and all of our facilities weekly. This position requires coverage for buildings around Indianapolis (Lebanon, Camby, Carmel, Lawrence & Zionsville)
My Mobile MD manages both medical and psych services. We have a full time LPN covering each community and a full time Medical NP and Psych NP that usually cover 2-4 communities. Starting base pay is $125k-$130k but with our incentive structure (based on billing codes), our NPs average closer to $170k/year. It typically takes between 2-6 months to start seeing the incentive pay, but varies depending on provider.
This position offers a lot of autonomy. Due to the unique nature of the position, we do require a 2 hour shadow with one of our local providers to ensure this position is a good fit for both sides. We do not hire new grads due to the autonomy and complexity of the position.
We provide a collaborative physician, cover you under our malpractice insurance and reimburse for licensure/DEA renewals. We do NOT have a 401k or CME allotment.
It is a very exciting practice that we have built over the past 10 years. We are the preferred provider or medical director in each community we serve in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky and West Virginia. Our reputation in the industry is vastly growing! All we need is you!

- Must have a valid PMHNP license
