Position Summary
Grand Monarch Wedding Collections is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Event Setup & Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring our venue is beautifully prepared, clean, and event-ready while delivering an exceptional experience for our clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Event Setup & Breakdown
· Set up tables, chairs, linens, and décor according to event layouts and venue guidelines
· Assist with event breakdown and proper storage of all equipment
· Follow event timelines to ensure setups are completed efficiently and on time
Housekeeping Duties
· Clean and sanitize all event spaces, restrooms, and common areas before and after events
· Maintain cleanliness throughout events as needed
· Ensure all areas meet company standards of excellence
Laundry & Linen Care
· Wash, dry, fold, steam, and iron linens to maintain a polished presentation
· Inspect linens for quality and report damages or replacements needed
· Organize and maintain linen inventory
· Customer Service
· Provide friendly, professional assistance to clients, vendors, and guests
· Respond promptly to requests during events
· Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
Qualifications
· Experience in laundry operations, including washing, steaming, and ironing linens
· Experience in event setup and breakdown (tables, chairs, décor)
· Knowledge of event guidelines and standards preferred
· Strong customer service skills
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
· Strong attention to detail and organization
· Ability to follow directions and work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to lift and move event equipment as needed
Work Schedule & Expectations
· Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Maintain a professional appearance at all times
