Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely to transport materials within the manufacturing facility
- Use measuring instruments and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and quality standards are met
- Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical specifications accurately for efficient workflow
- Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques according to safety protocols
- Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, while adhering to safety standards in production environments
- Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions for lean manufacturing practices
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety standards and manufacturing management procedures
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse or factory environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments effectively
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques for assembly tasks
- Experience working on assembly lines with a focus on safety protocol adherence and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing documents, work orders, and technical specifications accurately
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies
- Excellent manual dexterity combined with physical stamina for heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
