Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments according to technical drawings and production documents
- Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and work instructions to ensure precise assembly
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the manufacturing facility
- Conduct manual handling of heavy parts and materials while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting
- Utilize manufacturing management systems to track assembly progress and document quality checks
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements on the assembly line
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety standards in production environments
Qualifications
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of assembly processes
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings
- Experience with forklift operation and warehouse procedures is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks accurately
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
