Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load, unload, and move inventory throughout the facility.
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves accurately and conducting regular inventory counts using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software such as AS400 or MRPs.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch by packaging products securely according to shipping logistics standards while ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade laws.
- Receive inbound shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document receipt using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety protocols, including proper use of equipment like load unload stations and ensuring adherence to OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes, improve order fulfillment efficiency, and support e-commerce order picking demands.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving, stocking, order picking & packing.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs, RF scanners, and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Valid certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and trade compliance knowledge related to international trade regulations is preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items safely, and work in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics processes including load & unload procedures and packaging standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
