General Summary: Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, security and reliable operation of MVHC applications and workflows.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree or Certification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field
- Three to five years in an IT setting, preferably with application responsibilities.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs with or without an accommodation.
- Carry up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Standing 1-2 hours at a time
- Walking approximately 30 minutes per hour throughout the day.
- Frequent stooping, bending, reaching or grasping for objects
- Manual dexterity
- Withstanding pressure and deals with emergency situations as needed.
- Average working hours with possible non-traditional hours.
- Potential for exposure to blood and body fluids.
- Ability to deal with upset or disgruntled patients in order to deescalate the situation.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned application-related access, issues, troubleshooting, and resolution
- Analyze workflows and recommend system improvements to increase efficiency and user satisfaction
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Maintain application security roles and user access in alignment with organizational policies
- Perform system testing, upgrades, patches, and enhancements
- Develop and maintain documentation, including workflows, procedures, and training materials
- Provide end-user training and support
- Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Work with vendors for issue resolution, system updates, and optimization
- Provide budgetary numbers for recommended new applications, support of existing applications and application licensing.
- Support reporting and data extraction needs
