Responsibilities That Showcase Your Expertise:
- Shop Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high-quality workmanship.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support technicians and service advisors, fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
- Customer Experience: Ensure excellent customer service from initial contact through completed repairs, handling escalated concerns professionally.
- Workflow Coordination: Manage scheduling, dispatching, and job flow to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Diagnostics & Quality Control: Assist with complex diagnostics when needed and ensure all repairs meet high standards before delivery.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor hours, efficiency, comebacks, and overall shop productivity.
- Estimate & Repair Oversight: Review and approve repair estimates, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and proper communication with customers.
- Parts & Inventory Coordination: Work closely with parts suppliers and staff to ensure timely and accurate parts ordering and inventory control.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with parts vendors, tool suppliers, and service partners.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the shop operates in compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve shop processes, efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Adaptable Role: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the continued growth and success of the business.
