What are the responsibilities and job description for the BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS COACH position at Muskegon County, MI?
- NOTE: Shift times include two evening shifts per week ending at 7:30 pm
Required Minimum Entrance Qualifications
1. Be a high school graduate or have successfully completed the General Educational Development Test (GED). An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human services field, preferred.
2. Must have a minimum of one (1 ) year of experience working as a behavior technician in the field of ABA/Autism.
3. Must be credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the BACB.
4. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment.
5. Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classification.
Preferred but not Required
1. Bilingual candidates highly desired.
2. Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
3. Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.

Physical Conditions / Work Location
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
A Behavior Analysis Coach must be in good physical condition, such as to allow for the lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or more and for standing or walking for extended periods of time. A Behavior Analysis Coach must be able to lift and transfer consumers from wheelchairs to other surfaces as needed. This employee must be able to perform physical intervention techniques as trained and approved by the agency.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
A Behavior Analysis Coach works in the office, community and homes of consumers served. Travel throughout the County to see individuals in their homes or other community locations by use of a company vehicle or personal vehicle is required.
