Salary: $17.50 to $21.50 DOE
Position Summary
The role of the Guest Relations Floor Supervisor is to oversee a staff of GR Associates and Volunteers to maximize the guest experience and invite all people to engage with the transformative power of the bible. This includes, but it is not limited to, greeting guests entering the building, overseeing all museum attractions and ticket sales. The GR Floor Supervisors will assist the GR Manager with supervision of the GR Associates and Volunteers on the floor, attractions, and Ticketing counter ensuring that company policies and best customer service practices are adhered to. As a supervisor on the floor, this is a highly visible role to our guests, VIP’s, and our Guest Relations team.
Duties And Responsibilities
HS diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in museum studies/hospitality or equivalent experiential learning preferred
1-2 years of supervisory experience.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Motivate and inspire GR staff and volunteers to proactively offer outstanding customer service that supports MOTB’s mission and exceeds guests’ expectations.
- Supervise and support a team of GR Associates and Volunteers in positions throughout the building.
- Assure that all staff and volunteers adhere to safety rules, best practices, and procedures.
- Conduct training for all new hires.
- Conduct scheduled training as directed by leadership.
- Conduct one on one check-ins with team members.
- Assist with writing performance reviews.
- Have technical and operative knowledge of the museum attractions.
- Proficient with Tessitura and able to sell tickets/memberships.
- Responsible for familiarity with all museum galleries, attractions, exhibits and events.
- Able to work independently and handle guests’ needs and questions without assistance.
- Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years supervisory experience
- Prior museum/hospitality experience preferred
- Demonstrate a passion and aptitude for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of individuals
- Must be a team player with a hands-on attitude for motivating staff and volunteers
- Must successfully pass pre-employment background screening
- Must have seven-day availability
- Able to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Must have seven-day availability to work scheduled rotation.
- Stand for extended periods of time and lift 30 lbs.
- As needed, inclusion in official or incidental photographs and videos for MOTB and/or guests.
Salary : $18 - $22
