Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day warehouse, distribution, and operational activities to support service levels and business growth.
- Manage supplier relationships and sourcing activities with international vendors, including Mexico, India, and China.
- Oversee production schedules, quality control, compliance, and on-time delivery from suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and freight agreements to help optimize landed costs and protect margins.
- Monitor global shipping activity, customs clearance, duties, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to reduce supply chain risk.
- Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning in partnership with sales leadership.
- Maintain inventory levels that support customer demand while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Improve inventory turns and implement tracking and reporting tools for better visibility and control.
- Oversee warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and shipping performance to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor on-time, in-full delivery performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Manage domestic and international freight activity and oversee 3PL relationships as needed.
- Support sales operations by aligning inventory plans with promotions, customer demand, and growth initiatives.
- Develop and maintain reporting related to inventory, margins, backorders, service levels, and operational performance.
- Manage operational budgets and monitor KPIs including landed cost, inventory turns, gross margin, and service performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional communication.
- Lead, develop, and support operations staff while collaborating closely with finance, purchasing, sales, and executive leadership.
- Build and improve scalable systems and processes that support future company growth
- 5–10 years of operations, warehouse, or supply chain management experience
- Strong experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution management
- Experience managing international sourcing and supplier relationships preferred
- Knowledge of import/export logistics, customs processes, and global freight coordination preferred
- Experience supporting multi-location or retail distribution environments preferred
- Strong background in inventory planning, demand forecasting, and operational reporting
- Proven ability to manage costs, improve efficiencies, and support margin goals
- ERP system experience required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple operational priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred
