A leading insurance agency is seeking an Employee Benefits Producer to drive new business development and expand its group benefits portfolio. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented sales professional with experience in employee benefits, knowledge of group health and ancillary benefits, and strong client relationship skills. Working collaboratively, the new hire will drive growth by building relationships while delivering customized employee benefits solutions.

Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to generate new business opportunities within target markets
- Prospect, network, and build relationships with business owners, HR leaders, and key decision-makers
- Consult with clients to assess employee benefits needs and recommend tailored solutions (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.)
- Prepare and present proposals, renewals, and plan comparisons
- Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to negotiate pricing and plan design
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and onboarding
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to support retention and identify cross-sell opportunities
- Stay current on industry trends, compliance requirements, and market changes
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets
Requirements:
- Duly licensed in the State of Florida (215 license) at minimum
- Have a proven track record in self-driven Employee Benefits production in the State of Florida and/or Georgia (minimum of five years) in Small Group (under 50 lives), Large Group (over 50 lives), Captives, Individual Life, Buy / Sell agreements, Annuities, Ancillary benefit products
- Familiarity with EB underwriting, including group size, demographics, loss ratios, participation ratios, lasers, etc. that underwriters will use when evaluating a case/client
- Activity in local organizations that help drive business
- Good working relationships with underwriters, and underwriting sales managers
- Computer literacy within major agency management systems (Applied or AMS/Vertafore)
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Analytical thinking, adaptability and strong communication skills
- Effective collaboration with all team members
- Honesty and ownership
