Senior Chemical Processing Technician (SAP & Extrusion)

Partner with Mural and a publicly traded global leader in specialty chemicals and polymers. Our client delivers polymer colorants and additive solutions for automotive, packaging, healthcare, and consumer products. As a senior technician, you will be the backbone of safe, precise, and efficient overnight production.

• Production setup and operation across blending and extrusion areas overnight
• Ingredient weighing to recipe standards; process monitoring and issue resolution
• Accurate SAP production transactions from start to finish
• Sample delivery to QC and execution of lab-directed adjustments
• On-the-floor training and leadership for new and returning operators
• Complete documentation: logs, batch records, and thorough shift handoff notes
• Strict adherence to ISO, EHS, and site safety rules; consistent housekeeping

• 3 years of experience in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics/chemical manufacturing
• Proficiency with SAP is required
• Active forklift certification
• Overnight readiness and cross-qualification in both blending and extrusion
• Proven trainer and mentor; comfortable in full PPE within an industrial environment
• Ability to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis
• High school diploma or GED

• Compensation: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
• Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
• Schedule: Third shift (overnight)
• Location: Albion, Michigan (client operates facilities in Michigan and Ohio)
