As an AIT, you’ll participate in all aspects of facility operations — including personnel management, budgeting and finance, compliance, and strategic planning. This program is designed to prepare you for a future leadership role as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.

What You’ll Do
- Work alongside senior administrators to learn the day-to-day operations of a healthcare facility
- Develop skills in team leadership, recruiting, training, and performance management
- Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Learn to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations
- Collaborate with department heads to achieve organizational goals and improve quality of care
- Support special projects and other administrative initiatives as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of previous long-term care nursing home experience (required)
- Currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator or completion of an AIT program (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — a true “people person”
- Computer literacy and comfort using administrative software systems
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check
