Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced (minimum 5 years) person to lead our hardscape/landscape team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role involves overseeing a team of 2-3 in the installation of hardscape & landscape features, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards on-site.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage hardscape installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to review contracts, project schedules, and budgets.
- Utilize construction management software (LMN & Company Cam) for effective project tracking and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide the team in executing projects accurately.
- Oversee the training and development of crew members, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
- Manage project scheduling, ordering of materials, resource allocation, and budgeting to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to ensure high standards of workmanship.
Skills
- Proficient in construction management software.
- Strong understanding of construction processes including scheduling, task delegation and quality control.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret complex schematics.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising teams within a construction environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
