Hardscape Yard Associate

Job Overview

Christensen’s Plant and Hardscape Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our Plymouth team as a Hardscape Yard Associate.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position working with pavers, retaining wall block natural stone, bulk materials and related landscape products. You will help keep the yard organized, load customer/contractor orders, receive incoming materials and handle products safely and accurately.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older

What You'll Do

• Load and unload hardscape materials for customers/contractors
• Operate forklifts, loaders and other yard equipment
• Pull and stage customer orders accurately
• Receive and put away incoming product
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe yard
• Help customers locate and load materials
• Restack, straighten and maintain inventory
• Assist with general yard operations as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Dependable and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Comfortable with physical work and lifting 50 pounds
• Able to work safely around heavy equipment and material
• Good attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail when pulling and loading orders
• Forklift, loader, landscape, construction or hardscape experience a plus!
• We will train the right person who is willing to learn

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
