What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deburring Technician position at Multisource Mfg?
POSITION PURPOSE:
Deburr machined parts using hand and automated tools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Clean, wash or tumble parts as required.
- Use the appropriate tools to deburr or rework machined parts.
- Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications.
- Fits and assembles parts into complete or partial assemblies as needed.
- Keep material and paperwork in order and organized.
- Follows safe shop practices.
- Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.
- Conform to the company quality system as documented.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School diploma or GED.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Detail and mechanically oriented.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3-5 years
SKILLS ABILITIES: Able to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: No heavy lifting required.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Able to read and follow instructions in English.
