Multilink is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician with HVAC experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and technical skills in addition to strong electrical skills. In addition to installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance, this role may perform activities such as general labor, painting, HVAC, plumbing, welding, preventative maintenance, snow plowing/removal, machine maintenance and troubleshooting, mechanical work, and coordination with management and vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and facility environments providing suggestions on repairs per experience and education.
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in industrial and facility environments, providing recommendations on repairs based on experience and education.
• Troubleshoot and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect and test HVAC systems and components, including compressors, thermostats, and control systems, to identify issues.
• Provide excellent customer service when coordinating staff, vendors, and clients regarding maintenance requests.
• Communicate updates on maintenance request status to supervisor, production management, owners, vendors and/or others.
• In partnership with maintenance manager, ensure that all PO and purchasing guidelines are followed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service information to diagnose maintenance issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems as required.
• Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Perform outdoor maintenance tasks including leaf removal, shoveling, salting/plowing during winter months, gutter cleaning, cement repair, and outside building maintenance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Participate in project management as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in general maintenance.
• 1 years of experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 1 years of experience with HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repair within a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Technical diploma/degree and/or certification seen favorably.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.
• Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety practices in electrical work.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC and production equipment is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
