UC MANAGER

Job Title: Used Car Manager

Location: Mullinax Automotive – Hyundai Montgomery

Position Summary

Mullinax Automotive Hyundai Montgomery is seeking an experienced and results-driven Used Car Manager to oversee all aspects of used vehicle operations. This role is responsible for inventory management, pricing strategy, merchandising, profitability, and team leadership while delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with the Mullinax brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all used vehicle inventory including purchasing, appraisals, pricing, and aging

• Set competitive pricing strategies based on market data and dealership goals

• Oversee trade-in appraisals and acquisition of used vehicles

• Ensure proper merchandising of used vehicles both on the lot and online

• Monitor and improve used vehicle gross profit, turn rate, and inventory levels

• Work closely with the sales, F&I, and service departments to maximize profitability

• Coach, train, and support sales staff on used vehicle processes and product knowledge

• Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and state/federal regulations

• Analyze performance reports and implement strategies to improve results

• Maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve escalated customer concerns when needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Used Car Manager or Assistant Used Car Manager (preferred)

• Strong knowledge of used vehicle market trends, pricing tools, and inventory systems

• Proven leadership and team management skills

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities

• Ability to analyze financial reports and performance metrics

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
