Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Utilize knife skills for precise food preparation, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Proven experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume restaurants.
• Strong culinary experience with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
• Experience in meal preparation, catering, and serving is advantageous.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
