As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across various settings. What you’ll do
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Perform critical procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and airway management.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and post-care instructions.
- Manage acute pain effectively through evidence-based practices and interventions.
- Participate in triage processes within emergency and critical care settings.
Basic qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Proficient in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Background in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
- Previous experience in geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, or long-term care settings.
- Skills in behavioral health management and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
