ob Responsibilities
- Provide direct production line support for controls logic, PLC programming, and NC programming using Siemens-based control platforms, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial machinery and automated manufacturing processes.
- Configure, program, and support PLC, CNC, and HMI hardware and software systems.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and other automation components into control systems to support operational requirements.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and debugging activities to ensure proper functionality and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to develop and integrate effective automation and control solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic documentation.
- Ensure all control systems and automation solutions comply with applicable safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to maintenance and production teams on control systems and automation equipment.
- Support robotic systems, including modifying and repositioning KUKA robot programs and positions when required.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments and project priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, preferably with Siemens platforms or equivalent industrial automation systems.
- Experience with HMI development and industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
- Solid understanding of electrical schematics, instrumentation systems, and control engineering principles.
- Familiarity with industrial automation standards, machine safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing automated manufacturing systems.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with PC hardware and commercially available software applications.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
- 5–7 years of experience in controls engineering, industrial automation, or related manufacturing environments.
- Internship or hands-on automation project experience is considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of CAD software and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
