Job Title: Warehouse Personnel II
Description:
Loads and unloads materials in the warehouse and performs a variety of other warehouse tasks. Reads work order, shipping order, or follows verbal instructions.
Loads and unloads materials into or from vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools. 2-4 Years of Experience.
Establish & maintain appropriate stock levels of all materials utilised by network technicians in the completion of customer orders to ensure service objectives are met.
Order, receive and put away materials in pre-established bins, shelves, and other locations within the garage/storeroom.
- Monitor stocking levels and return excess or order additional materials as needed.
- Keep the storeroom and garage well organised and clean.
- Set up and rearrange the storeroom layout when needed.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels for all current materials.
- Get rid of all empty boxes in a timely manner.
- Check caged areas and make sure they are clean, neat, and orderly.
- Perform Cycle Counts if/when directed by your immediate supervisor or as required.
- Process, package, and ship equipment, tools, and test sets in need of repair.
- Provide available local stock for emergency rush orders.
- Replace old bins with new ones.
- Clean inside and outside yard area, including docks.
- This includes dusting, sweeping, and picking up/discarding trash in appropriate containers and restocking usable materials, etc.
- Must be able to operate lifting devices such as pallet jacks and forklifts and lift gates.
- Use a forklift to move materials as needed.
- Ability to work with all types of material, including HazMat (ship batteries to be recycled).
- Deliver emergency out of service material to specific locations.
- Arrange and coordinate material transportation utilising telephone and/or email.
- Communicate effectively and problem-solve with technicians, managers, and contractors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift Operator Certified
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
Primary Reporting Location is Murray, UT. May have required travel 2 days per week to Provo/American Fork, and Ogden, UT. Mileage reimbursement from location to location only.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
