MSI Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department at a skilled nursing facility in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
This position is ideal for a strong nursing leader who is passionate about quality resident care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and achieving exceptional clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all nursing services within the facility
- Lead, mentor, and develop licensed nurses, CNAs, and clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and company regulations
- Maintain survey readiness and oversee quality assurance initiatives
- Monitor staffing, infection prevention, documentation, and resident care standards
- Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, residents, and families to achieve positive outcomes
- Promote a positive, accountable, resident-centered culture
- Drive quality improvement and employee retention efforts
Qualifications
Required
- Active Oklahoma RN license in good standing
- Previous nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and quality improvement programs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Previous DON or ADON experience
- Experience with state surveys and quality measures
- EMR experience
