Position Overview:
We’re seeking a driven and personable Outside Sales Professional to join our team at Apple Valley Waste/ Gold Medal Environmental. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys hunting new business, and knows how to build long-lasting client relationships. As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of Apple Valley Waste/Gold Medal Environmental in your territory. You’ll manage existing accounts while actively seeking out new opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities:
•Sales Generation: Actively prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and territory outreach.
•New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in assigned markets.
•Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any service issues.
Site Visits & Assessments: Conduct site visits, assessments, and service evaluations to understand client needs and deliver tailored waste management solutions.
•Pipeline & CRM Management: Accurately manage your sales pipeline, log CRM entries, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
•Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as operations and customer service to ensure that client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Skills & Qualifications:
•Sales Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in outside sales, preferably within waste management, industrial services, or a similar field.
•Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present solutions to clients and negotiate effectively.
•Relationship Building: Proven ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
•Self-Motivated & Driven: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and achieve sales goals.
•Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify client challenges and deliver innovative, practical solutions.
•Time Management & Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
•Tech Proficiency: Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
•Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the waste management industry is preferred but not required.
Licenses and Certifications:
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
•Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
