Real Estate Paralegal

About the Firm: A highly reputable Southern Connecticut law firm with 70 years of experience is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support a busy real estate practice. The firm handles residential and commercial transactions, title work, and real estate-related disputes. Responsibilities
• Handle high-volume residential real estate closings from contract to post-closing
• Draft and prepare closing documents, deeds, settlement statements, and correspondence
• Coordinate with lenders, realtors, clients, and attorneys
• Conduct title searches and assist in clearing title issues
• Support attorneys with commercial real estate matters as needed
• Maintain transaction files, timelines, and closing schedules
• Assist with real estate-related disputes, landlord-tenant issues, and evictions Qualifications
• 3–5 years of real estate paralegal or closing experience (residential required)
• Strong knowledge of Connecticut real estate transactions and closing procedures
• Experience with deeds, title work, settlement statements, and lender documentation
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Ability to manage multiple active files in a fast-paced environment
• Law firm or title company experience preferred Schedule & Work Environment
