Occupational Therapist – Pediatric Program Lead
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay: Starting at $42/hr, based on experience

About the Opportunity
A mission-driven nonprofit pediatric therapy organization in Colorado Springs is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to help develop and oversee its Pediatric Occupational Therapy Program. This organization serves children ages 0–18 and is committed to reducing barriers to care by providing accessible services to families in the community.
This is a unique opportunity for an OT who is passionate about pediatrics and wants to take on a meaningful leadership role. The ideal candidate will have the chance to help build and shape the OT program, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide essential therapy services to children with a variety of developmental needs and diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and help oversee the Pediatric OT Program
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment for children ages 0–18
- Work with children with developmental disabilities, including autism and other diagnoses
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
- Partner with caregivers and internal team members to promote continuity of care
- Utilize provided therapeutic equipment for evaluations and treatment
- Hire, train, and supervise OTAs as the program grows
- Help influence and improve processes, programming, and service delivery
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado, or ability to obtain
- Background and strong knowledge in occupational therapy
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Preferably 2 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities, including autism
- Preferably 1 year of experience overseeing, training, or supervising staff
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative environment
- Passion for serving children and families in a nonprofit, mission-focused setting
