Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on IT Support professional to serve as the primary on-site point of contact for all end-user IT needs. This role goes beyond basic help desk support, offering exposure to networking, system administration, Microsoft 365, and security tools.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow beyond support into broader IT roles such as systems administration, engineering, or leadership over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 IT support (password resets, account setup, onboarding/offboarding)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and application issues
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 (M365) environment
- Assist with network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP)
- Work with firewalls and basic security tools
- Act as the face of IT for on-site users, providing excellent customer support
- Manage and resolve IT tickets while maintaining strong user communication
Required Skills
- Experience with networking and account administration (beyond basic SaaS provisioning)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (M365)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to support non-technical users with patience and clarity
- Comfortable working on-site and being the visible face of IT
Nice to Have
- Linux familiarity
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender)
- VoIP / phone system troubleshooting
