Change & Communications Lead
Key Responsibilities:
Change Management Strategy:
- Partner with Operations, Operations Support, HR, Multi-Media, and IT teams on change initiatives impacting the vehicle processing centers and trucking division.
- Develop and implement change management frameworks, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and readiness plans.
- Monitor and measure the adoption and effectiveness of change efforts.
Communications Planning & Execution:
- Create and deliver clear, consistent, and compelling communications tailored to diverse audiences across the centers.
- Partner with Strategic Projects leadership on prioritization process for communication requests.
- Develop communications calendar to assist senior leadership and change board with assessing the volume of communications and change.
- Develop toolkits, FAQs, newsletters, and other materials to support change initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to ensure two-way communication.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with site leaders, support and project teams, and associates to understand needs and concerns.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on communication and change strategies.
Project Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project rollouts, including system implementations, training programs, process changes, and organizational updates.
- Ensure alignment between project goals and communication efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in change management and communications, preferably in an operational or manufacturing environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and independently
- Proven ability to be proactive in planning work for self.
- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is preferred.
- TWIC & JAX Port badge a plus, for those not a TWIC/JAX Port badge holder, must be willing to apply for TWIC & JAX Port clearance
