Irrigation Technician
MSC Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual with hands-on irrigation experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial irrigation systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues, including valves, controllers, wiring, pumps, and sprinkler heads.
- Perform seasonal start-ups, winterizations, and system inspections.
- Locate and repair leaks, broken pipes, faulty valves, and electrical problems.
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers for optimal water efficiency.
- Read irrigation plans and install systems according to specifications.
- Communicate professionally with customers, builders, and project managers.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and job site standards.
Qualifications
- Previous irrigation experience is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to diagnose and repair irrigation systems independently.
- Knowledge of irrigation components, controllers, valves, pumps, and wiring.
- Ability to operate hand tools, trenchers, and other landscape equipment.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Hunter, Rain Bird, or Toro irrigation systems.
- Backflow certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience operating mini excavators or trenching equipment is a plus.
