Director of Operations

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to lead and scale day-to-day operations across a growing portfolio of Class A multifamily and mixed-use communities. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and a best-in-class resident experience while supporting ownership’s long-term asset strategy. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping operational strategy, building scalable systems, and supporting the continued growth of a high-quality multifamily platform.

The Director of Operations will oversee Regional Managers and senior on-site leadership, implement consistent operating standards across the portfolio, and serve as the primary operational liaison between ownership and on-site execution. This role is ideal for a hands-on, strategic operator with deep Entrata expertise and a proven track record managing large, complex portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all property operations across the portfolio, ensuring consistent execution of company standards and performance expectations
• Lead, mentor, and develop Regional Managers and senior on-site leaders; recruit and retain high-performing teams
• Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs across leasing, maintenance, facilities, and resident services
• Partner closely with ownership on budgets, forecasts, and ongoing operational performance tracking
• Monitor and drive key performance metrics, including NOI, operating expenses, leasing velocity, delinquency, and turnover
• Lead the operational components of acquisitions, dispositions, and management transitions
• Oversee leasing strategy execution, pre-leasing initiatives, and resident experience standards
• Coordinate facilities operations, capital projects, preventative maintenance programs, and vendor performance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, insurance standards, and risk management protocols
• Drive process improvement, reporting, and system optimization within Entrata
  
  

Qualifications

• 8 years of progressive experience in multifamily property management or real estate operations
• Proven experience overseeing multiple assets and management teams; 1,000 units required
• Required: Hands-on Entrata experience, including reporting, workflows, leasing, and accounting coordination
• Strong financial and operational acumen with direct budget and NOI accountability
• Experience with Class A, luxury, or mixed-use assets preferred
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
