The iconic 5-block-long Produce Terminal Building anchors Pittsburgh’s bustling Strip District neighborhood and was formerly the central hub for the regional wholesale produce industry. After sitting partially vacant for decades, our client has brought the building back to life, transforming it into a vibrant, people-centric destination once again.
Our client is seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Produce Terminal and other assigned properties. This role ensures exceptional tenant service, seamless property management, and strong financial performance while fostering relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the financial performance of assigned properties, including budgeting, CAM reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Manage tenant and vendor relationships to ensure superior service and satisfaction.
Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Supervise capital improvement projects and cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and company policies.
Monitor and manage tenant delinquencies, lease administration, and renewals.
Collaborate with leasing representatives on tenant retention strategies.
Review, approve, and track operating expenses to maximize profitability.
Lead and support onsite staff, including internal employees and contracted vendors.
Required Qualifications
7–10 years of commercial property management experience.
5–7 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Proficiency in Yardi and MS Suite.
Active Pennsylvania Real Estate License or willingness to obtain one within the first 120 days.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, lease administration, and building systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment & Travel
Location: Professional office setting, with regular site visits required.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (occasional after-hours as needed).
Travel: 15–25% for site visits and meetings.
