Junior Staff Accountant

MS SHIFT is seeking a highly motivated Junior Staff Accountant to join the team! The Ideal candidate will be responsible for financial operations and play an integral role in our business.

Note: this is on-site position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze finical statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
• Maintain the general ledger, including reconciling accounts, taxes and preparing journal entries.
• Participate in audits and reconciliations of financial records as needed.
• Ensure all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist accounting team with contacting clients to follow up on past-due invoices.
• Manage the accounting team.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Masters degree in accounting or related field.
• 3 year of experience in accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (3 years).
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize/meet deadlines.
• CPA is a plus.
