● Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (48 hours)
- Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday (36 hours)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and facility systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing both preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support production goals.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities and experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining safe operations, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring production equipment performs at optimal levels.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED required
● Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred
● Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
● Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
● Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs efficiently
● Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
● Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and technical documentation
● Experience using hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment
● Basic machinist and fabrication skills
● Computer proficiency and basic typing skills
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a production environment
● Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, GMP standards, and company policies
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
● Experience training production employees on equipment operation and basic maintenance practices
● Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments
● Knowledge of continuous improvement and equipment reliability practices
● Experience supporting facility maintenance and infrastructure systems

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
● Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment
● Perform preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and plant systems
● Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and perform unscheduled repairs as needed
● Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
● Replace or repair defective components and perform equipment adjustments
● Read and interpret equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and work orders
● Utilize hand tools, power tools, electrical testing devices, and material handling equipment safely and effectively
● Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement
● Support production by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime
● Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and abnormal operating conditions and communicate findings to leadership
● Assist in training production personnel on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures
● Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, GMP, and company policies and procedures
● Support additional maintenance and facility projects as assigned
● Limited travel may be required
Physical and Environmental Requirements
● Ability to perform heavy industrial work and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
● Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and balancing
● Ability to work from ladders, stairs, ramps, and elevated work areas
● Frequent use of hands and fingers for tool operation, repairs, and equipment adjustments
● Ability to work in environments with temperatures exceeding 100°F for extended periods
● Exposure to manufacturing noise levels that may require hearing protection
● Exposure to moving mechanical equipment, industrial vehicles, and manufacturing chemicals
● Ability to work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, and restricted access areas
● Ability to visually inspect equipment, components, and product quality using measuring devices and precision tools
