About the Role
MS Companies is seeking a highly organized, professional Inventory Specialist to support inventory, quality, and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring accurate inventory control, timely material movement, and effective coordination with quality containment and production teams.
The ideal candidate brings advanced Excel skills, SAP experience, and strong communication abilities, along with a professional presence and interpersonal skills. This position requires someone who can identify and communicate urgent inventory or quality issues clearly and effectively. Experience in automotive manufacturing or assembly environments is desired but not required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a rapidly expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify part numbers, locate inventory, and confirm availability within the facility
- Create and manage pull sheets to support quality containment and production needs
- Coordinate with forklift operators to move materials to designated quality and containment areas
- Order parts and maintain accurate inventory records using SAP and Excel-based tools
- Track inventory levels, discrepancies, and material flow within the warehouse and production environment
- Generate and maintain detailed inventory reports, logs, and documentation
- Communicate urgent items and updates professionally and clearly to supervisors, quality teams, logistics personnel, and customer-facing leaders
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting, data analysis)
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong writing skills and ability to communicate urgent items effectively
- Professional appearance and personable communication style
- Ability to work a 10-hour shift starting at 6:00 AM, with flexibility for overtime and weekends
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or assembly environments
- Bilingual in Spanish (highly desired)
- Understanding of logistics, material flow, and containment processes
- Experience supporting quality, inventory, or warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

- Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
- Lifting up to 25–50 lbs as required
