What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at MRP Solutions?
Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks which require a thorough knowledge of materials, tools, and equipment. This position requires someone that can work independently from a schedule with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for removing completed pallets from all machines
Stacking of finished cartons onto pallets
Move materials from and to WIP locations
Filling assembly machines with WIP
Available to assist with all scheduled plant inventory events
Relieves operators during lunches and breaks as needed
Inspection of product before placing into appropriate carton
Grinding of runners
Responsible for the accurate documentation of inventory items
Scanning to the machines properly
Scanning from the machines properly
Scanning to and from locations
Other duties as assigned.
Obtain Fork truck certification (Certification required within 1 week of start date / offered by MRP Solutions)
Fork truck
Bendi style fork truck
Electric pallet jack / material movers
Physical Requirments:
While performing the duties, the employee will be required to sit and/or stand, talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands, fingers and arms to feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms. Prolonged standing/walking periods of 12 hours. May be required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift to 50 pounds.

Complies with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures
Reports any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured products to the locations Food Safety Team Leader and submits an appropriate incident report
