What are the responsibilities and job description for the AI & Microservices Developer position at MRoads?
This is an AI-first engineering role that uses Java as its implementation language.
We are looking for a junior-level developer with genuine hands-on experience in LLMs, RAG pipelines, and Claude AI someone eager to build real-world AI-powered applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and integrate LLM-powered features using Claude AI and similar APIs
Design RAG pipelines for document search, summarization, and Q&A
Create AI prompts to process and summarize large documents
Develop Java microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
Use AI coding agents (e.g., Claude AI) to improve code quality and efficiency
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Required Skills:
Bachelor s in Computer Science with 4 years of experience, OR Master s Degree with 6 months experience
Real-world experience with LLMs (Claude, GPT, or similar) in actual projects
Hands-on experience with RAG systems and vector databases
Experience using Claude AI API integration and prompt engineering
Experience summarizing large documents using LLMs and AI prompts
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
Basic understanding of ML/NLP concepts (embeddings, tokens, context windows)
Nice to have:
Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
