Dry Etch Process Engineer
A leading, confidential semiconductor manufacturer is seeking an experienced Dry Etch Process Engineer to support advanced high-volume manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and sustain dry etch processes in a high-volume production environment
- Drive process performance improvements relating to yield, uniformity, and defectivity
- Support new product introduction and technology node ramp activities
- Troubleshoot process excursions and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with equipment, integration, and manufacturing teams
- Work closely with equipment vendors on process and hardware improvements
Background required:
- Hands-on experience with plasma etch processes in a semiconductor fab
- Strong understanding of process control methodologies (SPC, FDC, DOE)
- Familiarity with advanced device architectures in a manufacturing setting
- Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or similar
