Payroll & Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely approval of timecards and accurate payroll processing
• Run, review, and audit payroll batches to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records including new hires, changes, and terminations
• Process bonuses, commissions, expense reimbursements, and manual payroll adjustments
• Administer wage garnishments and required documentation
• Prepare payroll filings, W-2s, and compliance reporting
• Support payroll audits and resolve discrepancies
• Troubleshoot payroll and timekeeping system issues
• Support onboarding and HRIS setup for new employees
• Serve as a trusted payroll and HR resource for employees and leaders
• Assist with benefits administration and leave-related payroll
• Prepare payroll and HR reports to support leadership decision-making
  

Minimum Required Qualifications & Education:

• Minimum of three years experience in an accounting or payroll role supporting a large hourly workforce
• Proficiency with leading payroll and workforce management systems
• Working knowledge of payroll best practices and state payroll tax regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Demonstrated accuracy, organization, and strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Collaborative team player with a customer-service-oriented approach to supporting employees and leaders
  

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working in UKG; UKG Pro and/or UKG Workforce Management (Dimensions)
• Completion of postsecondary coursework or continuing education in a related field is preferred but not required
• Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
