Responsibilities
- Assessing and prioritizing clients' "honey do" lists
- Performing a wide range of small repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Assembling furniture and other household items
- Installing fixtures, such as light fixtures and window treatments
- Repairing or replacing damaged items, such as hinges, locks, or handles
- Cleaning and organizing work areas after completing tasks
- Write, present, and sell your own estimates
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role
- Proficient in various handyman tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Outstanding customer service skills and friendly demeanor
- Have a large variety of tools for various types of work (saws, drills, hand tools, and more)
- Have a valid drivers license
- Live within Northern Virginia area (preferably within our service territory)
