The Xome Corporate Finance - Senior Financial Analyst will be part of the Xome consolidation finance team. The consolidation team comprises of working closely with the business finance teams in Xome, such as Xome Direct Finance, Title and Close Finance, Valuations Finance and corporate functional teams.
This position is primarily responsible for executive financial reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, Corporate and Technology forecasting and month end close research analysis.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare / review weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Prepare / review quarterly forecasts for Corporate and Technology
- Prepare / review consolidated Xome quarterly forecast
- Prepare / review consolidate Xome annual budget
- Assist in the design and implementation of process improvements throughout the Finance department
- Provide value added ad hoc analysis for executive management
FUNCTIONAL JOB COMPETENCIES
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy and ability to review self created work
- Excellent computer skills, especially MS Excel (Essbase)
- Comfortable performing ad-hoc research and analysis
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and problem-solving skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 5 years of directly related experience and training
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university is required
- A CPA/CFA/MBA is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
