- Assist shop personnel with maintenance, repair, and general support tasks as assigned.
- Help organize tools, equipment, materials, and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient shop environment.
- Support equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance activities.
- Assist with cleaning, preparing, and staging equipment for service or operational use.
- Follow company safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Learn shop processes, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures through hands-on training.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or equipment within the shop or yard.
- Complete assigned duties accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding task progress or safety concerns.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed by leadership.
- Strong mechanical skills and interest in industrial maintenance or engineering support work.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions while working independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks during 8–12 hour shifts.
- Ability to work in industrial shop environments with exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures while wearing required PPE.
