Logistics Coordinator

We’re looking for a dependable Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations by coordinating personnel, equipment, and resources to meet customer service needs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring jobs are staffed, equipped, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining strong communication across field teams and branch operations.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources to support scheduled and emergency service operations.
• Schedule field employees and supervisors for assigned customer projects and service requests.
• Communicate job assignments, schedule changes, and operational updates to field personnel.
• Ensure job sites receive accurate information and documentation needed for successful execution.
• Maintain and update workforce, equipment, and resource availability records.
• Monitor staffing levels and equipment utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
• Coordinate support between branches when additional personnel or equipment resources are needed.
• Review schedules and resource assignments to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Respond to emergency customer requests by quickly dispatching personnel, equipment, and supplies.
• Identify and resolve manpower, material, and equipment shortages or surpluses.
• Coordinate the relocation of personnel and equipment to meet changing operational demands.
• Support branch and operations management with scheduling and workforce planning activities.
• Maintain accurate records of assignments, dispatch activities, and resource utilization.
• Exercise independent judgment within established operational guidelines to support business needs.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or industrial trade specialization preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of dispatch, logistics, scheduling, or service coordination experience involving trucks, equipment, or field personnel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, supervisors, and customers.
• Proficiency with scheduling systems, dispatch software, Microsoft Office, and general computer applications preferred.
