This individual will provide comprehensive human resources support across the organization, ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment laws, manage key HR programs and projects, and serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

- Manages employee relations by partnering with management and employees to resolve workplace issues and ensure policy compliance.
- Oversees Canadian HR operations to ensure compliance with Canadian employment laws and HR best practices.
- Oversees the daily administration, regulatory compliance, and participant services of retirement savings plans, including 401(k) and RRSP plans.
- Maintains and updates the HR handbook, policies, and procedures for U.S. and Canadian employees.
- Assists the Benefits Manager with benefit-related activities and provides backup support during absences.
- Prepares and submits required government and third-party reports, including EEO-1 and other compliance reporting requested by management.
- Educates employees on company policies, procedures, programs, and benefits.
- Maintains and updates the HR intranet to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and timely information.
- Works on new and exciting HR projects as assigned and discovered.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a full HR Generalist, including employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS, compliance, and project management.
- Experience managing employee relations, HR compliance, HR projects, and reporting functions.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, compliance and HR best practices in the U.S. and Canada.
- Expert knowledge of retirement savings plan administration, including 401(k) and RRSP plans.
- Experience working with a unionized workforce.
- Experience supporting a Canadian workforce.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Experience using Paycor.
