MPOWER Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient orthopedic team in Brentwood, TN.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services.
- Document evaluations, daily treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and efficiently.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs to maximize outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress.
- Supervise and work closely with Therapy Technicians.
- Maintain productivity and documentation standards.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on outstanding patient care.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
- Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
- Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
- Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription
- Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians
- Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues
- Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Great verbal and written communication
- Neat and professional appearance
- Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
