MPOWER Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient orthopedic team in Brentwood, TN.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services.
• Document evaluations, daily treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and efficiently.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs to maximize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress.
• Supervise and work closely with Therapy Technicians.
• Maintain productivity and documentation standards.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on outstanding patient care.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
• Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
• Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred
• Management experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription
• Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians
• Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues
• Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Great verbal and written communication
• Neat and professional appearance
• Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
